How did you get involved in sports and what keeps you going?
Hi, I’m Crystal, a three-sport athlete competing in cycling, swimming, and soccer. I first got into sports as a kid with endless energy, and quickly found a love for the challenge, focus, and friendships each sport brings. I’m driven by the excitement of pushing my limits, growing stronger, and sharing the journey with my teammates.
How has being an athlete affected you positively?
Sports have shaped who I am. They’ve taught me discipline, resilience, and the power of working together. One of my favorite memories was helping my soccer team reach the state semi-finals- an underdog run that showed me what’s possible when you never give up.
What are you most proud of?
I’m proud of what I’ve achieved so far: earning MVP and All-Conference honors in softball, breaking my school’s 50m butterfly record in swimming, and scoring the winning goal to send my soccer team to the state semis. But what means the most to me are the friendships, leadership opportunities, and life lessons that have come with every game, race, and meet.
What are your goals?
My immediate goal is to excel in my senior year and help my teams achieve success at the state level. Beyond that, I hope to continue playing sports in college. I'm also passionate about sports medicine and hope to pursue a career in that field. I want to combine my love of athletics with my desire to help others. Ultimately, my goal is to use the lessons I've learned through sports – discipline, teamwork, and perseverance – to make a positive impact on the world.
What are your interests?
Outside of sports, I'm a huge science nerd. I love biology and chemistry, and I'm a member of our school's science club. I also enjoy volunteering at the local animal shelter – I have a soft spot for helping animals. And when I have free time, I love to read and listen to music. I'm a big fan of classic rock and indie music. I also enjoy hiking and spending time outdoors. I believe that community is built on shared interests, and I'm always eager to connect with people who share my passions.
What's a random fact not many people know about you?
One random fact that folks may be pleasantly surprised by is the face that I have always wanted to be a rapper, lol!

I want to express my deepest gratitude to everyone who has supported me on my athletic journey. First and foremost, thank you to my amazing parents. They've been my biggest cheerleaders, driving me to countless practices and games, and always believing in me, even when I doubted myself. I wouldn't be where I am today without their unwavering support.
A huge thank you to my incredible coaches and teammates. Each of you has taught me invaluable lessons, not just about sports, but about life. You've pushed me to be my best, both on and off the field/pool/court.
I also want to give a special shout-out to my local sponsor Neurorelentless Performance. Your support and training has made a real difference in my ability to pursue my athletic goals.
And finally, to everyone who has followed my journey, offered words of encouragement, or simply believed in me, thank you. Your support means the world to me, and it motivates me to keep pushing forward..
